Pamela A. White

Pamela A. White is the ambassador to Haiti, and was officially sworn in on July 18, 2012. Ambassador White has served as the ambassador to The Gambia from 2010 to 2012. Prior to this she served as Mission Director for the United States Agency for International Development in Liberia. She has served in Cameroon, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Mali, and South Africa. In 2012 she received the Meal of Honor from The Gambia, one of the only foreigners to ever receive this award.
