First woman in the RCMP "Air" Division as a pilot. First woman posted to a Foreign Post - Lyon, France. First two women posted to the National Recruiting Team. |
| 1988 | First ten women promoted as instructors at the Academy. |
| 1989 |
First woman in charge of operational detachment in contract province, Arviat Detachment, Northwest Territories. First woman appointed to United Nations Contingent - Namibia. |
| 1991 | First woman to be promoted to Sergeant. |
| 1992 |
First woman commissioned to the Officer rank of Inspector. First women posted to Yugoslavia via UNPROFOR. |

Approximately 10% of regular members were women. Police women serving on Tactical Troop. |
| 1995 | First woman promoted to Staff Sergeant. |
| 1996 | First woman promoted to Superintendent. |
| 1997 |
First woman promoted to the senior executive rank of Chief Superintendent. The RCMP established the Women's Issues Advisor position. |

| 1999 |
25th anniversary of regular female members in the RCMP. Two women became RCMP Commanding Officers of their own Divisions - British Columbia and the Academy. |

| 2001 | First female regular member offered part-time hours to accommodate family needs. |
| 2002 | First woman to become Deputy Commissioner. |
